How to use: Click Copy signature, then paste it into your email client. Don't paste the HTML code. Gmail and Outlook show it as plain text.
- Gmail: Settings → See all settings → General → Signature → Create new. Paste, then click Save changes at the bottom of the page.
- New Outlook and Outlook on the web: Settings → Accounts → Signatures. Paste, choose your defaults, then click Save.
- Classic Outlook: File → Options → Mail → Signatures → New. Paste, then click OK.
- Thunderbird: Open Account Settings, check Use HTML under Signature text, and paste the HTML code.
What to include in an email signature
Name and title
Who you are and what you do, so the reader knows who to reply to.
Company and logo
A small logo ties every email back to your brand.
One or two contacts
A phone number and a website link cover most needs.
Social links, sparingly
Only the profiles you keep active. Stale links hurt more than none.
